So last night, Jay and I were sitting on the couch together, and I was posting my extremely enlightening post about orientation. Jay noticed what I was doing and asked, "how many people read your blog, anyway?"
Hm. Good question. I have no idea!
Blogger offers a counter, but I know there are TONS of sites that spam, so while it may LOOK like you have readers, it's actually just adware and spybots roaming the web.
So! My question. How many people DO read? You don't have to post your name, but it would be kinda interesting to get a general number and location (according to blogger, I have readers from all over the world, which I highly, highly doubt) ...but if that is actually the case, let me know and I will send you a present. No, really.

*waves* Hi! I read your blog. I have enjoyed reading your story of your sister's recovery. I should do this on my blog. I think I have about 4 readers, haha.
Follow u and your sister's journey, from the great state of Minnesota. I like your style! And your love and compassion. You make nursing noble!
I read your blog! I'm originally from Michigan but live in Tennessee now.
Oh, and I forgot to say (was up with a non-sleepin' kid when I posted) I'm in Colorado. :)
I follow you (from Texas) though I can't remember where I first found you. Love your writing and your sister's story is truly remarkable. There are so many things you talk about that I find true in my own life (our children (especially our boys) sound very similar) and I'm in the medical field as well (physical therapist).
I have a friend who reads your blog so I started. I'm from Michigan. I love reading your blog. You make me cry sometimes but I know it's twice as hard for you. Keep writing it's a good recovery for you.
I read while I'm at work! It gets me through my slow shifts and keeps me awake! So thanks!

Hi, Laura. I have enjoyed reading your Blog ever since the onset of Leslie's illness (my friend, your Aunt Barb, sent me the link). You have done a fine job documenting Leslie's progress. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I read your blog. I'm from Wyandotte and Pres. church and love hearing updates on everyone.
Hi! I read your blog in Canada :)
So so so so SO much fun reading about who reads :) I will admit, it made me a little blog shy! :) Thank you, though, because I know that with my sisters incident and the other little bumps in the road, the support we received is what got us through. Of that I am CERTAIN. A tragedy can make you feel so incredibly alone, and the way people stepped up to be there, it was simply amazing, and not a day goes by that I don't thank each and every one of you that have been there for us and her in one way or another. LOVE you guys! Really, I do.
Hey, Its Taryn, I read your blog!
